Those works are from series called “Porcelain idols”. I was interested in the questions concerning the proportions and their transformations on the level of contemporary social thinking, when “souvenirs” become the symbols of perception of the world. Their tiny sizes by giving an incentive to infantilism create an illusion of confidence and sense of personal control over the surrounding us situations. That “democratic” principle which persists in sizes just creates a sense of possession of aesthetic and symbolic subjects by rejecting their real semantic meaning.
